Since 2005 I've sold elaborate jewelry work online, at craft fairs, and sci fi cons. Exquisite materials just turn up when you live in NYC, and it made for some amazing, way-over-the-top jewelry work in my heyday. I learned and crafted with all sorts of styles, mediums, and techniques. Unfortunately, in the summer of 2011 I got hit with CFS, and all sides of my old business crashed out while I learned to manage my condition with my day job.
2015 is my year of starting over! I'm launching a new shop on Etsy, full of lovely jewelry that sets off the beautiful features of fine materials in simple settings. Jewelry that is more work appropriate than what I made in my old sci-fi convention days, but maybe with a sneaky reference here and there ;-)
I am very grateful to start over with the combined lessons of running my old jewelry business, and simplifying and streamlining my spoonie lifestyle. So I can just go straight to the good stuff, in life and jewelry :-)
